Lil's First Christmas

Christmas 2011 has been an interesting one... and a practice in patience. Brooke's wedding is Jan 7 so we don't get to go home until tomorrow. Hayley's gone so we won't do Christmas with Hunter's fam until we get back. But we did have our own sweet little restful Christmas.

I don't have a picture of my gift because Hunter is taking me out for a night on the town... An all-nighter downtown actually! Our first night w/o a baby since June 26th!!

New plan.

When I started blogging a year and a half ago it was to #1) document our life and #2) keep family and friends updated and in the loop.

Recently I've kind of blurred my blog with my biz, which was cool except then I started feeling pressure to post about interesting things and to post regularly and to try and get followers etc...

SO I'm changing things up a bit for 2012. I have a beautiful new blog design over at Sugar Mama Bakeshop and I've set some goals to try and be a better blogger over there. I hope to post lots of yummy gluten free & vegan recipes, occasional shop discounts and specials, and even some giveaways!

Meanwhile here at gogreeno I'll be posting a LOT of Lily pictures and day to day stories. The kinds of stuff grandmas will really love :) Just thought I would give ya a heads up! Happy 2012!

You're so close to crawling already. It seems so soon, but girl when you set your mind to something, you get it done. I hope you stay that way forever :)

You are by far the most beautiful thing I have ever had a part in creating.

The past 6 months have been challenging, stressful, precious, amazing and FAST.

I can't wait for the rest of this incredible first year!

So our Christmas card just didn't happen this year. I thought about it. Then I got stressed out thinking about gathering everyone's addresses again because I didn't keep good track of them last time. I thought about addressing and stamping and licking envelopes (so sick). Then I decided to play the "I'm a new mom" card :) I don't believe it's a season for stress, so I'm just making a Christmas blog post instead... at 11:30 on Christmas eve... while my husband sleeps and my baby eats. See, I am a new mom.

So a very Merry Christmas to you & yours.
